Description
Fibertex is stone wool - spun from molten rock rather than glass. It holds up at far higher temperatures than glasswool, does not burn, and stays dimensionally stable in service, which is why it is the usual choice around plant, flues and fire-rated construction.

Where to use it
High-temperature and fire-rated applications: boiler and plant rooms, flues and exhaust runs, industrial pipework and vessels, grease ducts, and acoustic or thermal lining where a non-combustible material is specified.
Why choose it
- Stone wool, non-combustible, with a melting point above 1000 degrees C
- Holds its shape and thickness under vibration and thermal cycling
- Water repellent and does not support mould growth
- Available in densities from 60kg/m3 to 110kg/m3 to match the specification
