Description

Bradford Acoustigard is a high-density glasswool partition roll made for the cavity of commercial partition walls. It is manufactured to precise density and thickness specifications, which is what lets acousticians and specifiers rely on it to deliver the system's rated acoustic performance. Density is what does the acoustic work - the heavier grades absorb more sound energy.

Specifications

Density 32kg/m3
Format Partition roll
Thickness 50mm
Material R-Value 1.5
Thickness and R-Value options in this density 25mm R0.7 / 50mm R1.5 / 75mm R2.2 / 90mm R2.7
Widths available 450mm, 600mm
Material High density glasswool - non-combustible

Where to use it

Inside steel-stud plasterboard partitions in commercial, industrial and multi-residential buildings - offices, apartments, hotels, hospitals and schools - and in external and intertenancy wall systems where an acoustic rating has to be met.

Why choose it

  • Supplied to precise density and thickness specifications for reliable, repeatable acoustic performance
  • Fits snugly into metal studs without the need for stapling
  • Compression-packed for easier transport, storage and handling
  • Maintains its full thickness in the cavity over time
  • Roll format means fewer joints and faster installation than cut batts
  • Available in 11, 14, 24 and 32 kg/m3 to suit the specified system
  • Supplied in 450mm and 600mm widths to drop straight into standard stud centres
  • Australian made, non-combustible glasswool - classified non-hazardous under the GHS
  • Material R-Value determined in accordance with AS/NZS 4859.1
