Description
Fireseal is a stone wool product used to close off the gaps that fire and smoke travel through - the cavity in a party wall, the gap between a floor slab and a curtain wall facade, and the voids left around battens and dampers. Stone wool does not burn and does not slump, so the seal is still there when it is needed.

Where to use it
Fire and smoke sealing in party walls between attached dwellings, curtain wall perimeter joints, roof and ceiling cavity barriers, and around fire dampers.
Why choose it
- Non-combustible stone wool that will not add fuel to a fire
- Holds its shape and position rather than slumping out of the cavity over time
- Friction-fitted, so no adhesives or mechanical fixings needed in most applications
- Used to close the cavity paths that let fire and smoke bypass a rated wall
